Regional Beers Win Medals

At this year’s British Bottlers’ Institute competition, several regional  Cotswolds brewers have scooped up medals.

Bristol based Butcombe Brewery won three Gold medals for its Butcombe Original, Rare Breed Pale Ale and Goram IPA Zero.

Meanwhile, Swindon based Arkell’s was awarded Gold for its iconic Moonlight beer.

The competition, running for nearly 70 years, is a blind tasting of canned and bottled drinks by a team of experienced judges and industry experts assembled by the BBI and attracts entries from all over the world.
