FarmEd, based near Chipping Norton in the Cotswolds, is hosting two events in January on the regenerative context of pastured pigs and pastured poultry.
Pastured Poultry takes place on 28 January from midday to 5pm. In the interactive half day workshop attendees will explore the challenge of selecting, feeding and housing pastured poultry for meat and eggs in a high welfare and regenerative context.
Pastured Pigs takes place three days later on 31 Jan running from 9am to 2pm. The half day workshop will explore how pigs fit into a regenerative farming system and find out about issues concerning herd health in a pastured, outdoor system.
FarmED offers knowledge about regenerative farming, sustainability, food and biodiversity, from introductory level through to deeper dives.
