Stroud based bakery SALT Bakehouse will be opening its new headquarters this week in the town.
The family-based business started out a decade ago as a wholesale business.
At the new headquarters at Slad Road, customers will be able to sit down for a coffee and cake as well as buy directly from the bakery.
The new bakery will open from Wednesday to Saturday until Christmas, when the team will then evaluate how it will work in the long term.
SALT also operates mobile vans – visiting 12 local villages a week, selling from village halls and pub car parks.
