Family brewer Arkell’s, based in Swindon, has recently unveiled a brand new plaque design across its pub estate.
The new plaques pay tribute to the brewer’s proud heritage, featuring an illustration of the iconic Victorian tower brewery in Swindon, complete with its landmark tall chimney. The design also includes two elegant swans, a nod to the Arkell family coat of arms.
Founded in 1843, Arkells operates a portfolio of just under 100 pubs across Wiltshire, Gloucestershire, Berkshire, Hampshire, and Oxfordshire. The plaques will be installed in line with the brewery’s ongoing decoration schedule, throughout the next year.
