Cotswold Bees Ltd produce high quality honey and provide a service to the small scale and hobby beekeeper by providing good quality equipment and courses, both face to face and online. The courses include refresher, team building and can bespoke them to your needs. Their ‘Introduction to Beekeeping’ course can run over one day or a weekend and takes place in their purpose-built Bee Building at Cotswold Farm Park, between Stow-on-the-Wold and Cheltenham.
This course can take you from complete novice to someone who has the knowledge to begin this wonderful and rewarding hobby. The courses are also suitable for those who have had bees for a short time and wish to gain some more experience. The course includes a visit to the apiary to enable you to handle bees under supervision.
They also sell nucs of bees when they are available. Part of their philosophy is to get back to the old idea of having bees that are suitable for the area in which they are foraging. Their main apiary and business is based in the North Cotswolds, just outside the picturesque village of Mickleton.
