The Food Innovation Centre on the premises is home to five purpose built product development kitchens, available for flexible short-term hire by food and drink businesses. The kitchens meet the latest environmental health legislation and allow businesses of any size, from start-ups to large enterprises to scale-up production, introduce new lines, produce short runs, and pilot product improvements.
The development kitchens have been built to food-grade standard and include standard catering equipment as well as specialist items linked to bakery, dairy, ready meal and drinks development.
