The first jars of The Artisan Kitchen’s seasonal Elderflower & Lemon Marmalade have arrived.
Handpicked wild Gloucester elderflowers meet sun-soaked Italian lemons in this beautifully delicate summer marmalade. Floral, fragrant and softly citrus-led, it captures something of the hedgerows, warm evenings and the fleeting English elderflower season.
Slowly prepared by hand in traditional copper pans in @theartisankitchen Gloucestershire kitchen, each batch is made in very small quantities while the elderflowers are at their best.
Lovely with warm brioche, fresh croissants, soft cheeses or simply spooned onto thick buttered toast.
A quiet little celebration of early summer.
