The Hawkins family have been farming the land in Frocester since 1895. In December 2000 they opened their farm shop, which includes a licensed butchery and kitchen.
Frocester Fayre Farm Shop rear all the beef on their own farm in Frocester, the lamb is reared in Gloucestershire, and the Pork is sourced from a small independent farm from just outside Stroud.
In the shop they have a butcher and sell all the meat, leaving the pork and lamb to hang for a week, whilst the beef is hung for a minimum of 3 weeks. All the sausages, burger, meat products and our range of ready-meals including some delicious faggots, are made in the farm shop’s own kitchen to our own recipes.
They also sell a range of artisan products to include Wholly Gelato, Tubby Tom’s marinades, Stainswick Farm oils and dressing, Selsey Farmhouse chutney, Ritual Coffee, Netherend Butter, Tewkesbury Mustard, Forthay Granola and Cotswold Honey.
You can buy at their farm shop, online and at Stroud Farmers market, and other local markets.
