Shop Cotswolds member, Merry May Honey, is an award winning family business based on the rural South Worcestershire/North Cotswold border.
They make honey, a range of natural beeswax products, and provide Beekeeping Experience Days that make a perfect gift. Something a bit different and special to give as a Christmas gift, whether for an individual or a family.
@merrymay_honey is passionate about caring for their bees and the environment whilst providing great quality local honeys and natural beeswax products. You will see them at farmers markets in Stow-On-The-Wold and Bourton-On-The-Water.
Their Beekeeping Experience Days are relaxed and informative afternoon learning about our friends the bees, how they live, how they look after them and what we can do to help protect them.
They run for approximately 3 hours and will take you through an introduction to honeybees and honey.
You will get hands on doing a hive inspection and make a candle to take home. Welcome refreshments and light afternoon tea are provided.
Experience days run Friday-Sunday between May and September. Adults £65, Children £30 (with an accompanying paying adult). Family and small group experiences are also available.
