CotswoldsPlus Local Visitor Economy Partnership (LVEP) is launching work on a new ten year destination tourism growth and management plan.
Against this backdrop they are calling tourism businesses and partners across Gloucestershire and the wider Cotswolds to get involved and help shape the future of the visitor economy.
Tourism businesses and partners will be invited over the coming weeks to contribute their views through surveys, workshops and online engagement.
The plan will provide the first shared, long term framework for how tourism grows and is managed across the region from 2026 to 2036. It will guide investment, inform decision making and ensure that tourism continues to generate value for local businesses and communities while protecting the landscapes and places that make the Cotswolds special.
The plan is scheduled for delivery within the next 12 months and will act as a key reference point for funding bids, investment decisions and partnership working across the destination.
