A new online farmers market in the UK has secured growth funding.
Wylde Market was launched in autumn 2023 with the aim of making the country’s best regenerative, organic and biodynamic produce available by direct delivery to consumers nationwide.
The company launched a crowdfunding campaign on Valentines Day seeking £175,000, hitting its target within hours, and raising a total of £312,661 by the end of the round by early March.
According to co-founder Nick Jefferson, “Consumers are heavily reliant on supermarkets which all sell pretty much the same things, regardless of season, weather or geography. Wylde solves that. We are a single, national farmers’ market, sourcing the best food and drink from the best producers across the UK, and making it available nationwide.
