Bristol based natural prickly pear drinks company Cacto has gained £15,000 funding from the University of West England.
The funding is part of the University’s Entrepreneurial Futures Award and the business will use the funds to develop its rebrand and launch two new products in February this year.
The existing range of products, including three sparkling prickly pear drinks, and the two new lines are made from Sicilian prickly pear fruit and are all low sugar, low calories and high in electrolytes, particularly magnesium and potassium.
