Shop Cotswolds at the Stroud Festival of Food and Drink

Shop Cotswolds attended the Stroud Festival of Food and Drink at the weekend and what a great experience it was.
Some of our producer members set up stall on Lansdown Road early on Saturday. As the clouds disappeared and the sun came out the crowds started to build enticed by the live music and blue skies.
We were delighted that Shop Cotswolds members The Incredible Brewing Company, Beckford’s, Karobi’s Ghee, little batch and Kitchen Witch Cakery were all there to sell their amazing food and drink products.
With a stroll up to the Farmers Market and the Shambles Market it was lovely to catch up with other Shop Cotswolds members including Charlotte at The Fresh Standard Brew Company (well worth trying their taproom if you haven’t already!) and Michael from Golden Sheep Coffee (always ready to explain the finer details of the different roasts!)
It was also a great opportunity to meet some new producers making waves with their offerings, for example, @rjsofcheltenham, @windrushvalleydairy, @sweetrosaliecakes , The Wiltshire Chilli Farm, VQ Country Wines, TheHive Mind Mead & Brew Co, @ Alfonso Gelateria The Mad Batter, ProperProbioticsand Tavlin Kitchen
The festival only reinforced the fact that the Cotswolds offers such a range of diverse and delicious local food and drink from producers with amazing stories to tell. Buy local is the way forward!
