This week Sorrel Stores hosted Shop Cotswolds’ first food and drink networking event in Cheltenham.
Food and drink producers from all over the Cotswolds came together providing an opportunity to make new contacts and opportunities.

Judy Roberts the founder of Right Product Right Place, shared her top tips on how to improve the customer experience and sales levels.
Additionally, Cotswold Tourism provided some valuable insights into the local tourist visitor economy and the importance of food and drink to that economy.
Shop Cotswolds launched its online directory of food and drink producers back in May 2023 and is continuing to make its presence known in the Cotswolds and Forest of Dean & Wye Valley region. With almost 70 registered members and great support from local councils and tourism bodies, Shop Cotswolds is now surging ahead with 2024 plans to target consumers and encourage the growing trend to “buy local.”
According to Nicola, Shop Cotswolds Co-Founder, “It was great to have so many producers attend our event. We had excellent feedback from them saying that they like the fact that Shop Cotswolds is locally based and independent.”
