Stroud Community Agriculture is more than fresh nutritious food.
The inspiration for this initiative was drawn from the Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) movement already established on organic and biodynamic farms in North America, Japan and Germany from the mid-1980s. It grew out of an interest in sourcing locally produced food and in a deep felt wish to transform our global economic system, dominated by a handful of multinationals, who control our food system, into one of mutual support.
Stroud Community Agriculture (SCA) provides a link between people and farming by providing an opportunity for people to support and benefit from farm projects mainly by paying towards the costs of running farm projects, by receiving a share of the produce and by volunteering
They grow food locally to the highest organic standards, making it fresh and nutritious, that you can buy from their farm. Everyone is welcome to join in and enjoy the farm, including non-members
