The annual Taste of the West Awards were announced last week which celebrate the West Country’s finest food and drink as well as the best places to stay, eat and shop for local food and drink in the region.
The awards have now been running for over 30 years rewarding the best food and drink from across Cornwall, Devon, Somerset, Dorset, Wiltshire and Gloucestershire.
Shop Cotswolds member Step & Stone, based in Bristol, won the Champion Bakery award for its walnut and cheese biscuits.
Other winners in the Cotswolds region include Bo Bom Gelato and Somerset Charcuterie from Somerset, recognised as the Champion Ice Cream and Sorbet and Champion Charcuterie top spots.
Steeplechase Distillery, based in Cheltenham, was awarded the Champion spot in the Spirits, Wines and Liqueurs category for its London Signature Dry Gin.
