Terms & Conditions and Membership

Here you will find all the things you need to know about what we do, membership and our Terms & Conditions. Please email hello@shopcotswolds.uk if you have any questions.

Introduction

Shop Cotswolds was launched in May 2023 by Nicola Hardy and Caroline Topping, previous joint secretaries of Cotswold Taste. Shop Cotswolds is the go-to hub designed for consumers to shop local and find the Cotswold’s best independent local food and drink producers. Shop Cotswolds make it easy for consumers to browse and buy experiences and products. All locally sourced and crafted, from a diverse and wide range of local sellers, all in one place.

The Cotswolds, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, is one of the most popular destinations in the UK when it comes to quality of food and drink, history and heritage and the array of independent shops.

Aim & Purpose

We promote local independent food and drink producers in the Cotswolds (Gloucestershire, Oxfordshire, Wiltshire, Bristol, Bath and North East Somerset, Somerset), and Forest of Dean & Wye Valley region.

To help in this aim we have created a go-to hub for shoppers to find local producers, to encourage locals and tourist to buy local.

We actively work with food and drink producers and engage with local councils, tourism offices and the wider community to find opportunities for our food and drink members to supply local retail outlets, restaurants, pubs, cafes, hotels, delis, farm shops and holiday cottages. This is important for the community and the environment, to promote buying local and to help grow the local economy.
