Shop Cotswolds member Woodchester Valley Vineyard is hosting a new event on two Sundays in February and March.
The Vineyard Geology Wine Tour will run on Sunday 25 February and Sunday 17 March from 11.00 to 13.30. Resident geologist Rachel will talk about the rocks and soils at the vineyard and the experience will include a brief introduction to the local geology followed by an extended walk among the vines.
There will be an opportunity to look for and collect some of the amazing fossils that can be found at Woodchester. Finally, the event will finish back at the Tasting Room for a flight of three wines and some warming soup by the fire.
The cost is £40 per person.
