The Growth Hub in Stroud is running a free workshop on February 26th aimed at food and drink producers interested in Net Zero.
The two hour session will offer practical guidance on how a business can start to implement a journey to Net Zero.
Growth Hub Net Zero Guide Andrew McKenzie will lead the workshop supported by a real-life case study from local gin and rum manufacturer The Boutique Distillery. The founder John Harper has built an eco-distillery from unique copper stills from scratch, using upcycled materials all run on 100% renewables.
The workshop will cover:
- The scope classifications and the methodology behind the GHG protocol
- How to collate data, both primary and secondary, to undertake an audit
- How a carbon footprint provides a baseline on which to start a journey towards Net Zero
- How an award-winning drinks company has placed Net Zero at the heart of their manufacturing processes
