On a sunny morning Shop Cotswolds set off for the Source Roadshow, the inaugural trade event held at the Bath & West Showground near Shepton Mallet, organised by Hale Events.
We were delighted to have several of our producer members attending, Wild West Cider, We are Curious Creatures, Malvern Bitters, White Horse Honey and Cotswolds Orchard Herbs. Strategically based near the sit out area, the stands quickly attracted visitor attention and the numbers built through the morning. The event attracted a wide range of buyers from the local hospitality, retail and foodservice sectors.
We were also happy to meet some new producers including Bloomfield Botanicals, The Drinks Kitchen, Severn Cider and the Cotswold Cardillo. All offering great products with really distinctive packaging and product benefits.
It was a good opportunity also to catch up with colleagues from FoodWorksSW and hear what they are up to as well as meeting The Fabulous Farm Shop crew.
All in all, a truly productive day.
